i want to get 5.25 inch cdt speakers to go in my front doors. the problem is the stock speakers are 4x6 speakers, is there an adapter for this? i have a pioneer HU, with 2 12'' AQ SD2.5s, would this set up be any good with what i got or should i look into alpine or infinity?

here are the speakers i want to put in my front:

so go with something else

whats your budget on the speakers?

what are you powering them with? or do you still need to buy an amp?

you don't need rear speakers.. drop the rear speakers and amp the fronts

I would suggest getting these

with this amp

CDT's HD series are great. You need 4" to fit in a 4x6 opening with adapter though, and smaller speakers just aren't that great. If it were me, I'd be cutting up the doors for a 5.25" or 6.5" custom job.

CDT's HD serious and up are amazing. I have the ES's and they are amazing. The highs are some of the most beautiful sounds you will ever hear. I'm not as sure about their low end stuff, but I know there high end stuff is amazing.

I met the owner/designer of all the speakers and he is a really nice guy. He is more of a scientist than a business man. He builds his speakers for best quality then tries to go low with the price. His stuff is way under priced in my opinion. The HD's and ES's are amazing sounding components.
