Yeah, that's not much. You might be able to get the Lanzar or the Soundstream for around that price.

If you can pull for this, all problems solved:

Don't trip over the quality when buying that amp. JK!

For that budget though, your best bet would be the hifonics. I'm not sure how much those other amps M.S. mentioned cost.

I really shouldn't have listed that Hifonics..... it's not enough power. Remember they are 20% overrated, and he is going to run at 1.3 ohms

It should be ok I think. At 1.3ohms, rated power is 1700W and if it puts out 80% of that, that's about 1400W, which is fine.

Ummm, no it not..... Hifonics amps are overrated by about 20%. That amp will do about 1300 watts at one ohm. Even less in your case cause it's 1.33 ohms.

Yeah, 1606 may not be enough, but 2006 is enough. Also keep in mind, the larger the box, the less power woofer can handle. Larger ported box and you only need 1200W rms. Smaller boxes is when you need 1500W rms.

What's the budget though? We may be able to come up with better quality stuff. What is the net box internal volume?

Maybe Kevin from low-hz has a suggestion for you from his store, Kevin?

Otherwise, bxi2006d it is.
