ok I know that it is bad to mix sub sizes. but I was wondering why, I wanted to get 1-10" 1-12" and 1-15" sub so I can hit all frequencies, also would al that fit into a car. well thanks for any input

1. it would look pretty rediculous
2. theres really no point to get three subs for different frequencies, you set the frequency on your amp, and/or make your box a certain size and to a certain frequency.
ITS ALL IN THE INSTALL!
3. chances are you wouldnt have enough room

One sub can hit all frequencies. Mixing different size subs will cause cancellation and will completely f*ck up your frequency response curve if done with out crossovers. Even if it is done will crossovers, it will sound no better than subs of the same size.

And if you know it is bad, then why are you asking about it? Think about, if it were better, why isn't everybody doing it?

If you want to hit all frequencies, get a SQ based subwoofer.
