My friend wants to buy my 12" RE SX and I think I am going to sell it. I am thinking of going with DD. The thing is that I am getting a single cab chevy soon and that limits my space. I was thinking of getting a DD 3512 but the dealer near me said that I would be better off with 2 1508's. What is your opinion on this.

Oh and I've already built boxes for these trucks and the largest I can go is 1.9 cubic feet at 38hz. after port displacement.

1.9 is nowhere near enough for a 3512. You'd be better off with the 15 series.

why do you say it won't be a good size box if DD recommends at least a 1.75 cubic foot enclosure for all 12's?

I have two orion 1200D's to power it.

The say that, but it's not exactly true. If you've got questions about how much box volume is ideal for different DD subs, ask on the DD forum, the guys there know DD subs inside out.....

Alright thanks for your help i might go with the two eights. It's just that I've never really thought about getting eight inch woofers.
