Car install question

if hatchbacks are the loudest and then SUVs and cars are the worst because of the trunk, what would you guys say a truck is, is it good for db since the subs are right there behind the driver seats or is is bad because it not enough air space. just wondering bc ive got an extended cab

This all is dependant on install.Any of these can be louder than the other with a wall.Without a wall it's dependant on the size of the cabin to an extent...look at Chad Lee's install it's a box install that's loud and not walled but he's sealed up pretty damn good so...it's all about install.Pick up trucks can be pretty loud fairly easy.SUVs are probably the hardest to get loud using the same amount of equipment as you would in a small vehicle,as long as you don't have your pressure trapped in the trunk.Once again it all depends on the install.
