So he is buying new subs tomorrow, he wants it as loud as he can get for 300$ on a set of subs.. 300$ shipped that is. I was thinking a pair of Kicker L5's anybody have suggestions? BTW its goin in a dodge neon.. |

Silver Member Username: LoudonPost Number: 966 Registered: Jun-04 | welll ill put my .02 in ... ctmike is absolutely correct. .. loud but built awful but no one and i mean no can say ne thing bad about the amplifier line up Kicker has to offer... as someone who sells kicker and was on their team for a short time ... the only sub id run of theres is a cvx for a daily woofer or an L7/solox if i wanted spl on a burp status cuz they will produce numbers ... and for the record go see Denim at ssaudio and get some mach audio maw 15s .. sealed em up throw some fill in the box ... and go boom away for under 220 shipped if u want 12s .. the audioque 2.5s are a stellar budget woofer ... as stated |

Post Number: 2208 Registered: Mar-06 | it will be a bit tricky getting in there..... but i figure... i do a good install in his ride... all his friends will come to me to.... this guys gf wont get in my ride.... haha For about 600$ total.... is this a decent system ($200)JBL Bp1200.1 ($309)FI BL 18" Dual 1ohm no extra options(going to run it at 2ohm, most effiecient with amp) (100$) Box materials and 1 run of 4guage. I should be good with 4 gauge to pass 1300watts through right? The wire will only bee about 7-10ft long... Neon battery is really close to firewall and amp is strapped to back of seat in trunk so not much wire is needed... That should be a pretty sweet setup for the price right? i also want to hear FI.... if i get it for this guy.... im sure him and all his friends will be like WTF is FI? Just like all these other brands i mentioned to him.... he didnt know what DD was until he seen my subs.... and he was just like DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNN |
