would a 150 watt inverter be enough watts to push this 300 watt house sub if i hooked it up in my car ?

no, you'd need a 300 watt inverter, at least.
Probably more, if you figure for amplifier inefficiency.

why would you want to do this anyway?

because the speaker i did have my brother had in his car and they impounded that sh1t so all i got right now is some house speakers and that sub be loud as f*ck in the house so i wanna c what it like in tha car. i'll prolly be the only muh f*cker bumpin some house speakers in my car. but better than not havin any sounds

after replacing the factory car stereo ..I notice my stereo works fine if my car is not runing. while driving my stereo kinda loses its power music skip the front panel lights goes out. Can't you tell me what when wrong during the installation. pls email me. thanks

Sounds like a problem with Wiring, Do you have amps hooked up to your stereo, I dont know if rca and power wire issues could cause this but i will look into it.
