I just finished up my roomates install. It went into a 1991 Town Car. Thanks to everyone who helped with the advise during the rough times lol.
Anyways, it was a 12" MTX 9500 in the MTX prefab box. He has it hooked to a Kenwood Excelon 930 (or so) amp. I was fairly impressed by it. It was similar in SPL to my L7, but definitly sounded better.
That's about all I have for a review, but figured I would throw it out there if anyone was interested.
No one recommended that stuff, his roomate already had it and Ben installed it for him. People on this forum gave him (Ben) advice on things to look out for on the install.
No...no one was recommending those products. I came for INSTALL help a couple times and you guys helped me. I would have suggested a much different setup...especially for what he paid. He already had the equipment and I had no say in it. I was the lowly installer.
