I got a 2006 Lincoln aviator thats 100% stock. Im looking to have a system that i can build on in the future. Whats most important for me to buy now(considering I am going to get a DD3500d2 sub and a sundown1500d amp)? Should i work on my electronical system first or buy my sub and amp

what size alt is your stock alt? buy the subs and amp and install them. If you have severe voltage drop beef up your charging system.

I would say electrical system, but that amp will be ok on a stock electrical as long as you keep the volume at a moderate level. So you may just want to get the amp and sub first, that way you can have a system sooner, and upgrade you alternator when funds permit. Then you can play it at full power.

you will notice your lights dimming, thats the easiest way or you can take a DMM and measure your voltage at your amps when turned up.

it depends on your batt. Big 3 is always recommended when using wire thicker then your stock wiring for a power and ground for your amps. If your batt is on the way out then yes you will need a new one.

You have to do the big 3 when you upgrade the alternator if not sooner.

New battery won't make much difference when running only 1500 watts.
