Will 6"x9"s fit in 1996 jeep grand cherokee? I want to install the jbl's in the front doors.

my guess would be no, unless you can cut out some of the door structure without affecting any of the normal functions of the door, like the windows rolling down all the way and stuff like that. my bro put some 6x9's in the back hatch of his 89 cherokee, and had to cut out some of the door, luckily it wasn't made of metal. but they did rattle against the back of the door, so he had to put something behind them.
