It's average. Not good, not bad. You could probably find a better deal for that price.

Few questions to help me out here...What features are you looking for in a head unit? What stores are you willing to purchase from (online, even ebay?)

yeah i plan on using ebay. F,R,S preouts something over 2V. good SQ. Good display. user friendly. just overall a good HU. thanks.

idk if this helps any but i used to have a ALPINE CDA-9851 and i loved it, but it crapped on me. now i have a ECLIPSE cd1000 and i hate it.lol. but i don really want to spend over 200 bucks. again thanks.

A Pioneer P860MP is in your price range as well as the P80MP. Also check out the Alpine CDA-9853 and 9855, they can be had on ebay in your price range. If anything, you could snag the P6800MP off ebay for quite a bit cheaper than 185 anyway :P
