The MTX 9500's are actually 1000RMS, which is the equivalent to 2 Type R's. With this in mind, wouldnt the MTX be equivalent if not better?

dunkino jr., you can't base it on rms. pair of 12" r's will be louder than a 10" mtx crap 9500. cone area ftl.
