well i have a chance to trade my subs with one of my friends and he has the MTX 4500 in the MTX box from circuit city. I have Kicker L5s but im underpowering them pretty bead
well yea there kicker L5s i have 2 12s in a sealed box and they hit really loud but would the MTX 4500 be louder because i would be powering them better then the L5s. I mean im giving the L5s like 250-300 watts each and ther 600 RMS and the 4500 have like 400 rms
Yea I jus upgraded to two L7's from and MTX 5500 which I take is better than the 4500 and its a major upgrade but idk how much better the L7 is than the L5 but if I were u I would stick will the L5's and get a bigger amp.
Me personally I prefer the L5 def over the 4500 I had 1 5500 and it was pretty good but the 4500 from circuit city I've heard it there and I think the L5 is defintely a better sub if you power it right but its up to you.
I kno he won't listen lol... y didn't u jus see how thy sounded on ur own in the first place thts wat I would of did. But I'm telling you'll be sorry if you trade MTX aren't tht great and 4500 are 1 of their lower quality subs.
"Kicker SX1250.1" hah, idk about anyone else here, but for me, money doesnt grow on trees. If he had that money to spend on an amp like that, im sure he wouldnt be considering to trade for some $h!tty 4500's
dont worry about it guys i hooked up the MTXs nd they were SH IT!!! im keeping my L5s and probaly will get a poretd box so there alot louder. i mean the MTX i had the volume up to 27 and it sounded just like the volume on my L5s at 13
