is there a better amp than that that i can get for about that price or would that be alright i want something that does about 1000-1600watts at 1 ohm

the only other amp i can think of with that much power around that price is the lanzar vibe1800D for $240.

DO NOT GET THE LANZAR!
Just go with the Hifonics. Kicker is better but it's a little more pricey.

yuo can pick up a kicker kx1200.1 off ebay for abut $300...it would do anywhere from 1200-1500rms at 1 ohm

all of the kx1200s for $300 on ebay are refurbished...dont get those..

if you want a 2 yr. warranty with the amp and from the factory, contact Ben at low-hz.com...the amp is listed at $425 on the site but u can probably get the price down. i have this amp and its really ncie

Just get a elemental designs nine.1 1200rms x1 @ 1ohm, and will do upwards to 1400rms on 14volts. << if you can find it for a good price, go for it. but I hear their customer service s ucks. And massive audio's customer service is really nice =). If you ever have any problems, Kevin @ low hz will help you take care of it. You can probaly get the p1500.1 for 350ish.

id have to agree, massive audio has the best customer service i have seen out of anyone.

u can get the massive no warranty for around 310 or probably get lowhz price down to around 350 shipped with 2yr warranty.

norris...whats wrong with the refurbs?

im not trying to suond like im disagreeing with you, just curious why you would say dont get a refurb...ive heard from a few people on here that refurbs are just as good if not better than the original...did i hear wrong?

yeah, and the Massive amp will do 1500rms @ 13-14volts =).

umm even if the hifonics only puts out 80% of wut it says is it still a decent amp?

I had the bx1500d for over two years and no problems with it. Its a pretty good entry level amp IMO. But if it breaks down....then we have no idea. I don't know how hifonics customer service is.
