alright guys i wont even pretend like i know anything about this lol.
okay i am gonna get these rims

now how do i know what tire size i need the rim is 18" X 8" 5/114.3 40 so how do i know

why should it depend on the car i have if i already know the rim cause doesnt the tire just go on the rim lol i mean i know the right bolt pattern and offset and what not for the rim so shouldnt u just pick a tire to on the rim now? i dont get it sorry if i sound stupid ive just never done this b4 lol oh and do u guys like those rims?

If your tire is too wide/fat it will rub the wheel well same if you get too tall of a tire.The same rim will may also fit fine with some low profile tires.Catch my drift?

205 45R 18 .... this will only make your speedo .7 mph faster

if you want wider.. go with a 225 40R 18.. its only .3 mph .. but very little sidewall so watch them pot holes!

nice. but i thought the rims through ur speedo off. actually im positive the rims are what throus it off. i mean it can be re-calibrated. cause mine used to be bout 7mph off. cause my truck was set for factory 17' then i put 22's on it. f*cked it up. if it rubs the wheel well sides, jus cut some of it off. simple fix.
