i have a small box and in the past i've had boxes move around quite a bit. and how does the whole mounting amp to back seat do? is it difficult? work pretty well? and how would i do it.

Well to mount it to the back of the seat get a drill bit and drill through the back of it because it is most likely metal that you have to go through. Then screw it in but make sure they are small screws that don't go through the front of your seat. If your not drilling through metal then just use a normal electric drill and it will be a lot easier. This is a pretty common and good place for the amp.

thanks. what about the box? with it being so small i know it'll move around. do i have to put any type of plywood on the back of the seat since the amp might get hot and warm up the fabric or anything?

You won't need any wood on the seat. For the box, maybe get 2 Velcro strips and put one on each side of the bottom of the box and match them up with 2 strips on the floor of the car.
