ok yea thats wierd but what i dont get is i have my new amp hooked up a hifonics amp and the people at cc tuned so it sounds nice but what i dont get is my old amp made the subs louder and it was a Sony Xplod amp and best buy tuned so is it weird that the hifonics sounds weaker then the sony?

there 2ohms subs and there not wired wrong because they work and hit nice and hard but its just wierd that the sony made them hit harder then the hifonics.

These are the specs on your amp,

150 Watts RMS x 2 @ 4 Ohms
300 Watts RMS x 2 @ 2 Ohms
600 Watts RMS x 1 @ 4 Ohms

You have dual 2 ohm subs. The only wiring option you have with that amp is to run each sub to its own channel at a 4 ohm load. And as you can see both subs are seeing about 150 watts rms. Given efficiency and hifonics is a little overrated, I would say you are seeing about 100wrms each.

dude shut up
its simple that you lying about something, have no clue what your talking about or you have super hearing. there is no way 2 l5 with 200 rms any kind of way loud. it probally sound like someone is kicking the side of your car

Yeah this is ridiculous. Is the bass too loud or too quiet. I have no idea what you are talking about anymore.

They don't always do a great job. I have been there many times and have had conversations with the people there and they have no idea about how to wire subs differently and ABSOLUTELY nothing about ported boxes. JMO but I would rather learn it and do it myself.
