I DONT UNDERSTAND THIS PORTING CRAP!!! idk how this stuff works

If I make a box with these specs, would it be tuned at 22Hz?

AND

If I make the port smaller will it be tuned at a higher frequency.
I was told that it should be about 30-35Hz.

Looks like a JL design to me. Can't go wrong there. Thats the great thing about spending the extra cash on JL Audio subs. Excellent support. No need to figure out anything. If you can use a tape measure and a skill saw you can build a great sounding enclosure.
