CDX-GT710 Motor Problem

I recently purchased a brand new Sony XPlod CDX GT710 and had it installed by best buy. after getting home (of course) i realized that the motorized faceplate would not move. when i hit the eject/angle button, it beeps and doesn't move. I can hear the motor moving breifly but no motion. Im not sure if this needs to be sent back and replaced or if something durning the installation was not properly done. Any suggestions would be great, thanks!

Sony's car audio equipment is known for being very bad quality. That problem is common on Sony headunits. My advice is to return it to bestbuy and buy a better brand unit. I don't know what bestbuy sells, but this will give you an idea of what brands to consider:
