I wouldn't run a Mac for two reasons:

1) Lack of software, windows has, oh lets see, probably like a thousand times as much software written for it. Same goes for hardware.

2) Price. Anything made by apple is WAY overpriced. From the ipod to their computers, I think they tack on a few hundred bucks just for that apple logo.

That said, Macs now use intel processors so you can dual boot windows on them. That solves the software issue, but there is still the hardware and increased cost.

I love how they claim no viruses and such on Macs :-) That's because nobody uses macs to create viruses for em.I would only reccomend one for Music and photo or video editing.Otherwise Macs are pieces of sh1t.

Yeah, X2. Recently some security researchers released a whole bunch of exploits for the Mac OS in one day.....

Everyone remember though!Macs are uber for video editing and things like rendering, they definately take the cake on stuff like that. The price is rediculous though for what you're getting.

Eh that vid is funny,it makes them look like a bunch of morons that's for sure. The thing is those are prototype computers and it's an all new OS with all new software and drivers so of course there is going to be bugs.I personally would never buy a Mac but they are good at certain things so don't go thinking they're complete pieces of sh1t,I think they are but that's just because I have no use for them.

^Dell is one of the biggest pieces of shi± you can get in my opinion.Initially Dell started off as a great company with good product for a good dollar but now Dell is complete junk along with Gateway.Saying your G4 is twice as good as a Dell laptop is not a good way to compare your computer lol.

Here at school they give us all HP laptops for going here. They are pretty nice. I havent had any problems with it and it always seems to work really fast.
