i'm always hearing good thing abou the alpine type r that's in your price range and would get loud and sound good. you are going to have to a box that pretty well matches your sub for any sub to sound good so get us the size of that. also what brand and model # is your amp?

i cant find that amp. it's probably 600 rms if max is 1200. if ur lucky. the only problem is we don't know at what ohms it does max rms safely. so it's hard to match a sub for u to get the most out of it. unless u know?

it sound like u should go with the kicker cvr 12 like this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/Kicker-CVR12-12-CVR-Dual-2-ohm-SUBWoofer-Chrome-New-07_W0QQi temZ140099840633QQcategoryZ39777QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
i have never bought from that particular seller but he's got good feedback. ask around on here these guys know alot of good places. if you get the dual 2 ohm model u can wire it to 4 ohms then u know u don't have to worry. also you have to be careful putting a subwoofer into a ported box that's not designed for it. read this

look here
http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp
but u have to make sure you get the dual 2 ohm model
u just run a piece of speaker wire from the + of one voice coil to the negative of the other voice coil. then run your remaining positive and negative out to 1 channel of your amp. by the way building the correct size ported box for that one sub will make a world of difference if you want alot of bass. i don't know about over there but in the U.S. u can buy all u need for about $27 bucks.

without the owners manual it's hard to tell if your amp is bridgeable and the correct way to bridge it. but from what it sound like u would probably be better off going with a 12 and giving it the right size ported box. based on your trunk size. u never did specify what u are going for a loud setup or just some good sounding bass. that would be helpful

then i would go w/ that setup. the cvr 12. it would really help if u could find out the specs for your amp. but that cvr 12 with a ported box built to the specs in the manual will sound nice 4 the money. the box makes a big difference u should read up on that jl link i sent u earlier theres a lot of good info. for u there.just try and give the sub 300 rms in that box.keep askin around b4 u make any decisions some of these guys know alot so do a little research and i'm sure you'll get what ur looking for.
