Lol, I seen Isaac posting yesterday and had typed, what next, GW posting about Freq rise? I then deleted it thinking it was in bad taste, and then today your posting. Weird. But good luck with the health stuff. |

If the cone moves "out" you've found your positive and negative terminals. Just match them to the correct wire color and you're good to go. If the cone moves "in" you got it backwards. I actually don't think its that big a deal if you hook things up "backwards" as long as you do it for all your drivers including the sub(s). If all your speakers are 180 degrees out of phase then they're in phase with each other(for simplicity sake forget phase changes due to xovers and other filters) which is what you're really looking for. -Fishy |

A lot of sub amps have a phase switch which effectively reverses polarity(switches phase by 180 degrees). Sometimes a sub(s) will blend better with your highs hooked up "backwards". -Fishy |
