Hey...I was just browsing Crutchfield and a few other websites and found a couple subs I didn't know much about. I was just wondering about the overall quality of a few brands from anyone with experience. (Sorry it's a big list.) Thanks!
1) Boston Acoutics(high end is ok) 2) Polk(decent) 3) Elemental Designs(questionable but leaning towards SQ 4) Cerwin Vega(middle of the road ) 5) Memphis(upper middle of the road-will take a beating) 6) Eclipse(they make some great subs in thier high end) 7) Soundstream(high end subs are good) 8) Almani(crap) 9) Diamond Audio(great company for amps and subs) 10) Alphasonik(no clue) 11) MTX( their upper end subs are good but u can get better for the price) 12) JBL(gto series are middle of the road) 13) MA Audio(not much experience with these)

11) MTX (a pimp my ride sponser but there ok but like he said u can get betta JAck hammer is wack in my opinion its big but only 6,000 RMS, 12,000 peak music power YAWN could be betta for its size 12) JBL (makes no sens the W15GTi MKII has 800rms but 5,000 maxx all there subs have low rms but high max watts) 13) MA Audio( the kore has 4000watts the HK15X2 is good the 12inch has 3000 watts max )

For that size it should handle 30K+rms IMO the motor alone is bigger then most high end subs that handle MORE power then it
my friend had 2 alphasonik 10's in his hatch bac honda civic, and ported box, and i sold him a l5 solo-baric 10, with a ported box i made and it was much louder(proven)
