I think it was some random forum but I read that there was a ratio that someone found made the loudest boxes. It was L 2, W 1, H 2.5. That's a complete guess but you know. I'm gonna build a new box outta mdf this time so I figured I might as well built it with this ratio majig.
livinloud and lilrob: posted that on ecousticsfam and Andrew Capps said you mighta posted it...

If your internal volume in cubic inches needs to be 2160^in or 1.25^ft.
Take the cubed root of 2160 (12.927) and multiply it by 1 to get side A
A=12.927
To get side B multiply side A by .7939
B=10.263
To get side C multiply side A by 1.2599
C=16.286
To double check multiply side AxBxC, and you should get within 1 of 2160.

alright total is 3 cubes. max dimensions are
length-40"
height-20" but basically unlimited but the less this is the better because the seat is 18"
depth-10" but 10 would be better cuz the last box was 11 n that was TIGHT. the tailgate bulged a lil and the seat was pushed forward.
