I've never smoked weed or anything, but I did smoke this stuff in Panama City last year. It's pretty crazy stuff. It's classified as LSA, and no that's not just a coincidental term either. It's realted to LSD, but the effects don't last nearly as long, but they are just as intense. I stayed with a friend who lives in Atlanta recently, and his brother was on LSD while we were down there. So we asked him about Salvia, and he was like, "dude, I don't f*ck with that sh!t. It makes you retarded." He said this while he was on LSD, haha. Anyways, my story is as follows. Alright so this summer me and two of my buds, Alex and Rob, went to Panama City. So were hittin up headshops (Rob is a huge doper) and we find one that says "Salvia, Herbal XTC). We were like sh!t well hit it up... so we go in and a huge hippie from brooklyn worked there and he sold us some salvia... Later that night we went on the beach and we smokin out of a piece. I smoke a bowl then Rob then Alex.... so im blazed sittin there and I look down and find a pack of newports layin in the sand, so I just started going crazy and i just died laughin thinkin, "Wow all the black people smoke these(according to Dave Chappelle). Haha, so I pick up the pack and find it was full! So I look over at Alex like I had just struck oil and I was just actin' like it was the greatest thing to ever happen to me so Alex proceeds to cry hes laughin so hard for 3 minutes I'm laughin just as hard right beside him and Rob's like starin at us like wtf? We smoked the rest fo the newports that night by the way hahaha.... That was only the first night. The second night we smoked on my balcony of the hotel, and we just tripped over everything. Just all your feelings are CRAZY instense. Everything just looks magical, which sounds corny, but it's incredible. The third night, Me and Rob went to go get some cigarettes out of my car and we drove to the hotel beside ours to meet these girls and Alex. We were kinda pissed and Alex for making us get the looseys so we decided to smoke some Salvia. Rob smoked a bowl then I smoked a bowl. I felt it pretty strong, but I said I didn't just to see what happened if I smoked one more. So I did, and sh!t got real. Within 30 seconds everything around me was black and I was walking down a illuminated, animated, purple, cobblestone road. Like straight Alica in Wonderland sh!t. I kept thinking if I just stop walking nothing bad can happen. Rob said I stopped walking 15 times in the matter of about 100 yards. I remember stopping once. He said he would ask me what was up everytime I stopped and I would just say a bunch of gibberish and then slowly start walking again. After I stopped hallucenating we had hit this bridge leading out towards the beach. Once my foot hit a little bit of sand I freaked out. I kept telling Rob that we couldn't walk in that sh!t while slowly picking up my feet one by one as if im in deep mud or quicksand, haha. He agrees to take his shoes off with me so we keep truckin along, and they I decided to stop and talk to Rob about nothing at all haha. I just remember saying, "Rob, I need to talk to you, just stop for a minute." At this time I look up and I could sware to this day that Alex was walking towards us. The second I noticed him I went SPRINTING down the beach. I mean as fast as I could. When I reached the beach chairs where the girls were sitting I once again could sware to this day that Alex grabbed me by the shoulders. I ripped through that and jump over a couple beach chairs before I finally realized what the f*ck just happened. Then I just geeked out for like 10 minutes and felt straight, haha. It was a crazy experience, and I think everyone should try it. Not to hallucenate, but just the magical feeling. Anyways, that's my story if you felt like reading. I don't know how I mustered the energy to write this damn thing at 3:45, but that's my testimony. |

Trust me nothing compares when you hit it like that. I'm talking out of this world crazy mario lands, and riding a big giant paintbrush....not as fun as it sounds though.. Get prickly all over your body and when you're done you just sweat balls. Coming down isnt too bad though..kinda like you're velcro'd to whatever you're sitting on. |

Post Number: 1200 Registered: Aug-06 | ive done it many time back in the day. it is something for everyone to try if they wish but it is very pointless and pretty boring after you have done it enough. i say everyone, only because of its SHORT LASTING effects. if the ride gets scary, dont worry, it will end in 7 seconds... they make extracts of this, i have had 15x, that high lasted the longest, maybe 7 minutes, tops... a normal "leaf" high will only last 1-2 minutes. the afterglow can last up to 1 hour but most the time only around 20 minutes. it has been classified as a hallucinogen and has been called an alternative to mariwuana. in my opinion, it is very far from both of those. this drug just makes you feel retarded for 1 minute... |

Post Number: 1216 Registered: Aug-06 | i cant really see paying that much for it, extract is expensive though, if you want to swing 32+ thats cool but i would try to find 2 grams of any other extract for about that price. after it has been made into any incriment of extract it has become alot more potent than plain leaves. basically, 5x is 5 times stronger than leaves, 20x is 20 times stronger than leaves. you can make your own extract from leaves, it isnt hard at all and you can make whatever potency you want (5x-infinityx) and leaves are CHEAP. |

Post Number: 1219 Registered: Aug-06 | and salvia is not related to LSA. maybe your thinking of woodrose or morning glory seeds... the plant, salvia divinorum, is part of the labiatae family (mint family). it contains salvinorin A, not LSA. LSA and LSD are related, only molecularly. they are both TOTALLY different drugs and noone should try LSA because they think it is related to LSD because you will get an unpleasent trip with about the same visuals as you might get on salvia or 19 days on meth... also, LSA is a purge drug, meaning you will probably throw up. |

It's all about the technique...if you don't do it right you will just feel a little different, but when you really feel it you will not be moving. I would say its a hell of an experience and you might as well give it a try once or twice...but ive done it about 6 times and have absolutely no wish to do it again. No regrets though it's unlike ANYTHING else. |

In my opinion, Salvia = not fun... i didn't like it that much. However, my friend who was with me said he thought he was on a rollercoaster being chased by beavers that were trying to bite his feet.. so maybe i didn't smoke it right.. lol. Also, I think it's all about mind set. Have you ever wanted to get high so bad, and you end up gettin insanely high and then you can smoke just as much, but if you don't really feel like getting high or are just being pressured into it, you don't get high, and you just don't appriciate the feeling. I had heard bad things about Salvia, and didnt want to try it. However my friend was super pumped, and wanted someone to do it with, so of course i wasn't going to say no. I think it's all about mindset. By the way, someone posted an erowid.com link up there earlier, great site with great info. |
