ok well im on 400 budget i already have something in line thanx to kevin(low-hz.com). But i want to keep my ideas open. One of my friends happens to be sellin a 15 inch Kicker L5 in a ported box on a Hifonics Class A/B mono amp. I heard and it was loud as FXCK!!! I mean thats the bass i want in my car that loud ground pounding bass and thats what his was.
Kicker solobarics are some of the worst subs out there in terms of build quality and sound quality. L5s just plain suck, L7s can be loud but they have one of highest failure rates in the business.
The best system I can think of for $400 would be a Fi SSD sub and a Hifonics 1206d amp. But Kevin is a good guy, so I'm sure whatever he lined up for you is good also.
