Go to Pricegrabber.com and search for "VRX775VD" and you'll get a bunch of buying options, but there's also always ebay if you're willing to go that route.

Their upper end stuff is darn good, especially this one:

http://www.clarion.com/us/en/products/2007/audio/source_unit/CD/DRZ9255/us-en-pr oduct-pf_1165294764151.html

My transport did take a dump on me on some mountain roads in Colorado, but got it replaced for free. That DRZ-9255 is one of the cleanest H/U's you can buy, as long as you can get the CD in and out of course.

^^^ I agree... The upper model Pro units are very solid. It wasn't that long ago when most of the serious comp guys were running those decks. I can't speak for the newest models (Chad has said that there are quality issues) but the models from 3-4 years ago have an excellent record.

The DRZ-9255 is reputedly a McIntosh design.

Hey, Fishy has returned...again :P Good to see you posting...completely agree with everything that's been said in this thread. Though I wouldn't say JVC and Panasonic are in the 'upper division' of car audio. haha. By the way, Fishy, what car stereo did you end up replacing the DRZ-9255 with?
