a cut through is where u put ur subs in the bed...cover it over and have a hole cut in ur bed and cab...put an accordian boot over it or something of the sort.....and its just a big hole

carefull before you buy the subs if you wanna do a blowthrough. i thought i was gonna do that but my bed wasnt tall enough i have a mazda truck (ford ranger) so if you have a mini truck it prob wont fit i ended up putin it in my ext cab which is fine but no backseat. Upload

ya i seen a video of 2 15" or 18" in a ext cab and it was a tall box but i don't know what kind of truck it was but is was big here it is http://www.realmofexcursion.com/videos.html its quote is Wes Kashula's two 18" MT's in a 9 cu. ft. ported enclosure tuned to 35Hz, powered by a JBL GTO 601.1 amp. He's playing "Throw It Up" by Lil Jon.

"Not bad for a lil 600 watt JBL. Subs barely flex!"

take a look and tell me if that would work?????

yes you need a topper and a boot in between bed and cab. if you do a blow through dont extend the box through the bed into the cab there is a reason the bed and cab are two peices they need to flex. you cant cut through with 18s that sub in his pic is 15.

ya you can do 18s you just wont be able to see the whole subs.but that wont limit your sound.think about it if bass comes thru a trunk into a car, itll easily come thru a big hole into your cab.but ya get an accordian boot to connect the cab and bed, they dont leak!get a cheap topper off ebay or somewhere,i paid 175 for mine and it matches the truck.you got the whole bed for room for a box so i'd go for it w/18s.
