Woooo i found a amp clamp, now i get to see what kind of power these subs are really seeing :-) i need the amp clamp and a voltmeter right? goto the amp outputs and check the voltage\amps and multiply them right?

but u have to substract the power that wet lost for making the watts man... u have to look on the efficiency rated in the amp

Rob i am going to do it with the amp speaker outputs so it doesnt have the loss included :-) ampsXvolts :-) im waiting for the DMM so i can watch volts to.. but i was playing with the amp clamp on m 0gauge to the dist. block for my amps.. i was doing a avg. of about 250A an i was peaking around 330A i wasnt using test tones ill have those later wehn i do it. I did the voltage with the clamp after and didnt see it drop under 12.6 but i only did this for about 2 minutes. so im guessing around 3.4K before the efficientcy loss..
