Hi, I had the viper5900sst 1mile range alarm installed on my 1984 300D mercedes diesel with remote start.And whenever the battery goes dead I have to have the alarm reset, because if I don't have it reset the remote start will malfunction as in starting then after 1minute the motor will shut off.
