yea my friend rob is 24 and he has three type r's with the bigest mtx amp i think they make i forgot the model number but he has it in a ford escort and holy sh.t i say that is loud , its the loudest system in mauston .. idk if u guys knwo wehere that is but its by the dells, anyways its a sealed box and its deffinatey loud

do it man. if it blows you can always get a new one. i doubt they'll blow though. i know someone who put 750wrms on a single type r and that thing wangs with no problem.

i run my r's daily off the bxi2006d, i think i'm gonna have mark build me a box b4 i go for the 15's, i'm guessing each 12 is gettin about 700rms and they move alot of air, i should make a video since it's a nice day

"clean" power, proper enclosure, and not cranked full tilt all day without paying attention to any stinky smells... thats used properly :-)

If you want woofers that will handle the amp allllll day, be prepared to spend about 3x as much... if you want cheap woofers that will handle the power for shorter periods and be very reliable if *properly* used... the R's are a great pick.
