i would've said the solo x actually, but i've heard that other than the 18", they have a bad life span. i had L7's and the SQ wasn't terrible, but not good either... so the SX's can't be much better

a dd 99xx would be wonderful with all that power...

i say 2 fully loaded bl's, 2 dd 3512's, or 2 crystal compx 12"s.

and yeah the solo x's don't sound very good at all. at low to moderately low volumes the sq is horrible for a straight spl sub but once you start turning it up it just gets worse. and it's true about the solo x's blowing easy on the small models.

"at low to moderately low volumes the sq is horrible for a straight spl sub..."

personally i wouldn't get a solo x. i'd rather get one of the other subs recommended above. and what kind of charging system upgrades' you have done?

eh, you can't expect much high end from 18's, and i'm going to suggest the SX 18 doesn't have sh!t on them. the amp makes no difference in what frequency hits, apart from the filters...
