Im planning on getting a new system for my cav(only have 4x6s and 6x9s) and have a few questions.
Ive been eyeing the HD-642 comp set for a while now, is it good sounding set of speakers?
Anyone recommend any brand/type of amp I should get?(#channel & how powerfull)
IS there anything i should get to protect the door speakers from the moisture/rain?
And lastly, the most stupid of all, should i place the 6.5s in the front door or the 4s?

Thanks for reading and thanks for the help.

first, all round speakers. in my opinion you cant mix 6x9s with round speakers sucessfully.

we need more info, rms of the speakers specifically. and a budget.

CDT HD series are awesome speakers. As for the amp, any 100-150watt X 2 channel amp of a respectable brand. Check here for what brands to consider:

if you are eyeing CDT products email me. I'll set you up with something nice. I would actually consider something along the lines of the HD-642/M6 with possible HDS-2 for the main tweeter if you don't mind a larger hole for the 2in driver. Amp for the HD 3way is 150-200rms for sure.
