I have a 12 inch eclipse sw7200 aluminum sub, 500 rms in a 1.8-1.9 cu ft box tuned to 32 hertz right now.
Being made right now is a 12 inch FI ssd with with flatwind upgrade so about 1000rms. Will the FI be louder then my eclipse in the same ported box im using now?
Im running both off a hifonics bx1500d amp. The eclipse is wired at 2 ohm pushing roughly 800-900 rms into it. When the Fi ssd comes it will be wired 1 ohm which will have the full 1000 watts pwring it, since im over powering it but gonna be watching it closely.
