I got a pair of memphis PRD104 10" DVC subwoofers. I have a PRD500.1 Memphis mono amp. Each speaker can handle 250 RMS continous power. My question is if anyone know the best method for wiring these speakers to my amp.

Amp Specs: 150x1 @ 4ohms RMS, 300x1 @ 2ohms RMS, 500x1 @ 1ohms.

I was thinking about wiring the speakers to run at 1ohms to the amp. Then each speaker would run at 250 RMS. My problem is I do not know how to wire them to run at 1ohms. Any input would help, maybe a wire diagram

Also list the car audio system setup you have, if you got one

just hook em up paralell. run all 4 positives to teh positive on teh amp, and all 4 negatives straight to the amp.

So I would be running 8 speaker wires? 4 wires to teh negative and 4 to the positive? and that would give me a 1 ohm load?

it's pretty simple man. just take the wire run it then cut how much you need. hold what you cut onto your wire then cut that amount 7 more times for a total of 8 wires. then take the 4 of them and hook those up to the amp's + terminal. then run those to the + terminals on the sub. do the same for the -.

or do this.
