i like the kicker better also, but i think i might choose the nine.1 only because it has the 5 year warranty and you know it's not going to be a refurb/used amp. there still nice amps, know several people that use ed amps with no complaints. and $329 for about 1400+wrms on a strong charging system aint bad.

Hard call.

eD with 5 year warranty, or Kicker B-stock for $100 less... [dunno what they are brand new]

Similar actual power outputs.

I'd go eD.

thanks for the opnions guys

before we go to far tho...the ED nine.1 would be used...for about $275 or so...the kicker kx1200.1 would be new/refurbed off ebay...

if i get the nine.1, then i can get the nine.2 for my comp as well and be "matching" lol...im ocd so matching is always awesome but i think i could live without it

if spending $275 for a used nine.1 why not just save an extra $50-55 and get it new with warranty? both amps new will cost about $526.50, if i did the math right.

The seamless design would look sexy! :P

Do the coupon codes still work for eD? I remember I used one that saved me $35, got it for $315USD shipped...

no, there's no more forum discounts. that went away when they raised their prices. only thing you can do now is use the package builder on their site (but their has to be at least one speaker in the package) or call them and they'll give you 10% off.

kicker handles 0.5 ohms daily if you can supply the current. But, ED is good and that warranty... OMG.

idk what the kickers are rated at, but i think the nine.1 is rated at 12V. Again IDK if the kicker was rated at 14v or 12v, but like blaine said, the ED's gotta be pushin nearly 1500 or way more at 14volts. they look sweet too. someone on realmofexcursion is selling 2 BNIB for 275 a piece

also, when blaine ordered his, i remember he called to ask if he could mount it on the box and not void the warranty, and they pretty much told him if he can break it or blow it, theyll fix it. It might be better dealing with a small company like ED instead of who knows waht would happen trying to contact kicker....
