They're arguably THE best amps you get can and they'll cost you, too. You have to get really good stuff with them though.

Yeah I'm going to power my $15 18" 3000w Pyramid subwoofer with one. Jk, of course, actually I plan to power my components (once I pick them) with one. I've been reading around here and wondered what you think of Rainbow for components?

Those are also arguably THE best you can get LOL You're going to have some setup! whoa! You know the number's we're talking here, right? The amp alone is about 1G and those speakers (higher end lines) are $500+ and top of the line is a few grand. Of course, if you get that amp and those speakers, you have to get top of the line eclipse HU haha

I'm planning on getting the MX406 and MCD4000 since I know I'll be getting that McIntosh amp. Thanks for securing that it was good. I'm going to go take a listen of McIntosh with different components.

I decided on the McIntosh amp and a set of Power Lines from Rainbow along with HU/CD. I'm going to have it professionally installed and I've asked them to make it look like all I changed was the HU (and to make that look like it came factory installed). I hope they do a good job. This way people get surprised when they take just turn it on to listen to the radio expecting it to sound like the factory system.
