Crossfire introduces the innovative Flexible Impedance Technology plug. This F.I.T. plug lets anyone change the impedance of their subwoofer by simply removing the plug, rotating it to the desired impedance number and replacing it. This technology was designed to eliminate the jumper wires usually needed to wire normal dual voice coil subwoofers. Crossfire's F.I.T. plug is available on all Performance and select BMF Subwoofers (excluding XT and XT2). Configurations are available in selectable 1 and 4 ohm or 2 and 8 ohm models.

Does any other company do this?

the plugs dont sound like much.. if they were taking the imdependance themself and not just changing the wiring on the subs u would think it would be dissapting some of the power to so the sub inst getting the full potential that it should... but i dont think anyone else does

sounds like if the sub is d4 then in only has one terminal and you move the knob to make it 2ohm or 8ohm instead of changing wires
