I was thinking about building another box for my hd3. but for only 1 hd3 and give it 3k. This will be for the next competition. Or should I just stick with the setup I have right now. I would like to see what 1 hd3 can do on 3k though =). I just don't wanna take any chances and get a lower score :P.

just wire the subs to a 1ohm load. that way you can see more than 3000wrms for both of your subs.

i can't believe those guys are taking forever to take care of the amp problem. damn.

the only way you have a chance to see a higher score with 1 sub as asposed to 2 is making a fully SPL oriented box. worth a shot. wont that drop you a class too?...depending on what competition. if you really wanna do it for a higher score make a sealed box first and see what you peak at, then take the sub out of the car and see what it peaks at...
