well...i AM getting a new car now within the next month or two...
ive decided on a car that fits what i want...
heres the car if yuor interested:
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=213394341&dealer_id=572488&car_year =2004&num_records=10&search_type=both&make=TOYOTA&keywordsfyc=&distance=100&make 3=ROV&transmission=&model=4RUN&make2=JEEP&address=20112&certified=&advanced=y&de fault_sort=priceDESC&model3=&model2=JEEPGRAND&max_mileage=45000&max_price=16000& sort_type=priceDESC&min_price=&first_record=11&body_code=0&end_year=2007&color=& keywordsrep=&start_year=2000&drive=&pager.offset=10&engine=&style_flag=1&doors=& fuel=&cardist=82

this most likely will be the car i end up with in the next month or two...maybe not this exact one, but one similar

this is what i have so far picked out for my car:
sub - 15" SI MAG
amp - kicker kx1200.1 or ED nine.1
HU - i think im gonna keep my pioneer 7800 for this car
speakers - stock 6x9's...i need help here, i dont want oval shaped speakers cause i dont like them, would 6 1/2" speakers work here as well? need suggestions on these as well, or i mite keep what i have now...
speaker amp - decide on that later
keeping stock rear speakers
box - probably 3.5cuft tuned to 30hz probably...not set on that, so ill take any comments on it

i want suggestions, comments, anything you think i shuold change, etc...

looks like you know whats up yanks.

you can make an adaptor out of mdf and put a nice 6.5 inch speaker there. don't go cheap on the speakers man. it makes the system imo.

the sub is staying...if the mag doesnt come thro, then the 3515 is definitly a choice...

the cdt speakers look real nice tho...more money than what i was hoping, but paying for quality

for like 250ish you can get some rainbow slc265;s which are the sh;t. the midbass isnt heavy but its natural.

and i have a great component amp its a viper 400.2 will work great with a decent set of comps. 125shipped

I would buy Mat's amp and use the money saved on an amp towards your comps. That is a great amp for a great price. Your ears will thank you for using the money to buy a nice set of comps.

i better not be...im looking forward to this

i told my friend what i was getting and he asked why...i told him more room for car audio...he went on to say that "its all about alpine, i bet mine is louder than whatever you get." btw, he has a 10" type r in a sealed box getting about 300rms from a sony xplode amp...well i went ahead and disagreed obviously...this just makes me wanna get this even faster just to throw it in his face...itll be a fun day when its all done lol...

but yea, this jeep shuold make me happy...also im hoping that getting a SUV will slow my driving down cause right now, im all about speeding, even tho my car isnt that fast, cause its fun...havent got a ticket, so hopefully getting this jeep will slow me down and keep my tickets to sound ordinances only or better yet, none...

comments on the speakers above tho?

I think those CDT. or beyma
The Morel are OEM replacement, (Entry level high end) lol.
I heard some Morel HO 6 Friday, and they were very nice. But twice the price of tempro.
The Beymas are nice too. Hard choice.

CDT FR 60-20 70wrms S 91.5dbs
Beyma FR 50-20 80wrms S 92dbs

Well number wise Beyma will get lower and louder...
I love my beyma rfk52. And they were only seeing 25 wrms. Wait till I put my new amp on em at 75wrms

Side note. Beyma are more spl oreanted drivers
CDT, Morel, SQ drivers

ike sounds is shady, there products are ok but most the stuff the sell online they dont even stock. thats why you need to call them to be sure its instock when you order and will ship out right away. if they say we are getting more in this week tell them fo f u c k off. but if they have them get them

that is a steal for them.
