http://www.cardomain.com/ride/649085/1 would that be a good type of box for a 97 accord 4 door .. i mean with subs up and ports to the side.. or is there a better way for these fold down seat cars???

fire the subs and port into the cabin. seal off the trunk from the face of the box.

i was thinkin about doin that but so far with all the systems i've heard like that don't sound to good.. u know kinda like whem u run a sealed box in most cars and u face them forward instead of back.... but i might give it a try just for looks u know... by the way... i'll be running 2 12" CVRs and hopfully a A8002V but for now it'll be a thunder 81000D @ 4 ohms

it works well with a ported box. i've had it like that before when i had a pair of 12 inch treo ssi's. you need to seal of the trunk so no bass waves goes back there.

I think you would actually get much better sound out of a sealed box and facing it forward. This way you avoid all the rattle of the trunk if any and none of the sound is muffled by obstructions of the sound's path.If you want something that has great sound quality I reccomend you look into a different sub and I would run a different amp as well.

if you want loud go with a small ported box. around 1.5-1.75 cuft net tuned to 36-38hz. i know honda accords man. it don't like big boxes.

btw if you want louder, buy another one.
