Well if you have 600 to spend on two subs you are already way beyond the league of those three companies.

You should look into brands like:

Fi
Audioque
SoundSplinter
TC Sounds etc.

the motor = the magnet
magnet is 300oz.... but dont think that has ANYTHING to do with how good the sub is... think of the size of the one on the MTX jackhammer then think of a sub like a DD9500.... im pretty sure the 9500 will sound louder and cleaner and the speaker itself is half the size of the jackhammer.... thats including the motor to... it still is install dependant and i havnt seen many people use the subs at all...except MTV but yeah... they prolly got paid pretty big to stick that POS in that ride lol....and for sure.... all those u mentioned are not worth it.... you can get both mofo's for 300shipped... and u say u have a 600 budget.... deffinetly look into different subs like the listed ones...

Treo
FI
RE
DD
ect

How much power you looking to give them?

FI Q or BL would prolly do good... You want straight SPL or SQ or a lil of both? The Q will sound clean, the BL will sound loud....either way they will both get loud as fu<k in the right install, you know about building boxes? Your going to need to do that as well...
