Does anybody have any word on AA upgrades. I was going to wait and see what they had coming out but i am becoming impatient. I was going to compare AA, TC, and FI but at this point Im thinking about not waiting for AA. :-(

I gave up waiting myself. Been comparing the 18" Fi Q and an 18" avalanche for a bit. If I could just see what the latest AA has to offer. I've heard so much about both, but I don't want to wait a couple more months for the new line. I'll be happy with the Q. I'd just hate to have any regrets after the new line arrives and I see a beast I (could've) had.

Paul im in the exact same situation except with 15" . I know their redesigning everything but im sure theyve been working for longer then we know about or they annouced it. It might entice me to wait if they EVER updated on how things are going along. even a possible ballpark timeline

Paul why an 18" for home use? How big of a box is that going to require, because I thought home boxes are about two times bigger than car audio boxes.

I absoultey love the mag in my HT application. The SQ is very precise, and yet rattles the bar glasses 15 feet away. I've never pushed the Mag beyond its' capabilities so I guess you could say I've "nursed" it. It has satisfied my expectations and then some. Now I'm waiting on the Q's performance to awe me.

Nice, I wish I had the money to do something like that too. What kind of box is the Mag in?

i'd love to try my Q in my HT setup for a bit. unfortunately i cant properly power it...

paul you cant go wrong either way, but right now i don't you can beat the Q for price to performance, so just get one. buy mine :-) i kid, but seriously you won't be let down. Q's <3 the low notes. especially the 18" Upload

it will be months, i wouldnt hold my breathe.

It takes a while to properly release a subwoofer line... AA doesnt exactly have extensive RnD resources.

But who knows, perhaps this has already been in the works behind closed doors for a while.

Yet and still, experience with 'net companies tells me to not wait.
