I have racing motor mounts in my car that are a little bit harder than the stock. It increased the vibration in the car a little bit, but I never had this problem with the sony HU I had in for a few days or the alpine I had in before this. I know it's not the cd being scratched because if I revv up the motor in neutral it skips, and if I just sit in my car with it running it will play every song flawlessly. Is there anything I can do about this?
This is the second unit, I exchanged the first one to see if a new one would still skip.
Can't say I've seen that problem before. Only thing I can think of would be to put sounddeadener all around where the HU is mounted (but not on the units cooling vents!)
still having this problem. a friend of mine just bought the same unit from a best buy and put it in his bone stock 1998 integra and is having the same problem.
