Box I built for a friend

Box was for a friend. It went into his single cab F-150.
It's 2.3 Cubic Feet tuned to 35 Hz after displacement.
Sorry I only got to take two shots of the thing while it was being built.

he had some 10" db drive speed series subs. They sounded pretty good. But I think he told me he was switching to some other subs.

how far is the end of the port from the back wall of the box ? , if its more than the diameter of the port then its fine but im just wondering since u cant tell from the pix........

Pretty clean. Carpet that bish and it'll look d@mn good. BTW how did you secure the ports to the box? I can't tell from the pics.

^^^...i have also used liquid nails to secure pipe ports to the wood - u need 2 give it time to set up even though L\N is made 4 wood it works well for this purpose too ....

how the hell did you fit that in a single cab the f150 i did needs a small box the one we got didnt fit and we had to put it on stilts to make it fit until we get a new box

The port is 2.5 inches away from the bottom of the box.

I used liquid nails to support the ports to the box, and I added a piece of MDF between the two to support both of them and make it stronger.

The box fit perfectly in the F-150. The outer dimensions are:

42" Length

13" height

13.5" on the bottom from back to front

8" on the top from back to front.

Are those ports 4" pvc? Rovin is correct, I doubt those ports are 4" away from the bottom.
Just make them stick out of the box until its 4"(or whatever dia. those ports happen to be) away from the bottom.
