Setting up a small system in a convertible. Subs will be in a sealed box. Approximately .4 -.6 cubes of space for each. They will be getting 350w RMS each from a RF 700S (700x1 @ 4ohm or 350x2 @ 2ohm) so they will need to come to a total of 2 or 4 ohm.

Thanks.

Is the RL-i worth the extra cost over the DD8 or RE8? It's about an extra $100 for the rl-i over the re8.

1508 FTW. The Rl-i is nice, but i don't think it's worth the extrad over the 1508.

Where can I get info on the 1508's? I only see 1008's on dd's website.

I thought the concensus was that DD makes the best subs around? Not true for the 8's?

OK...I didn't think it was neccesarily fair to say anyone is the best, but it seems as tho a lot of people think that (at least on other forums). Would you do those RL-i 8" .6 cu ft tuned to 30hz?

That is insane, but he is running it at like 850 watts when they recommend 300. The website said no problem with 500, but 850 seems too much to run it at every day. You think?

How is that? 2500 @1, 1700 @2, 1200 @4, therefore I am just guessing 800-850 @8. Or are the numbers provided by woofersetc.com max numbers and not RMS?

OK..I'll trust you logan. I just figured that 1700 is about 70% of 2500, and 1200 is about 70% of 1700. So I just figured in 70% of 1200 is 850. No?

I think I have it right...

Either way, what would you suggest feeding those so they hit well, but don't fry them?
