what does the impedance rating mean on a sub because someone on this forum said "as long as you don't go over the subs power its fine. its the amp you have to worry about functioning at lower ohms"
The impedance is the resistance of the sub. For example some subs come in single voice coils and some come in dual or even quad. The more coils means the more wiring options. What subs and amp are you trying to wire up?
