i just had the jensen uv7i dvd mon prof. installed and i have alot of static in my subs. it gets louder when i hit the brake or the gas. circuit city did it and they keep trying to say its the deck. i know its not the deck cause i can turn the volume to 0 and still hear the noise. does anyone else have this problem? any ideas on how to get rid of it?
Sounds like engine noise due to a bad ground, frayed wire, or power running along side your signal cables. If you complain enough I would imangine that circuit city would fix the problem. Or you could search crutchfield, they sell some noise filters that are easy to install.
