Silver Member Username: SpkrmanChi town, IL U S A Post Number: 191 Registered: Mar-06 | I've done 145+ with more single 15 setups than I have fingers, toes... and maybe hairs on my head  ... thats basically every single 15 box I ship lol. Perhaps the least power would be approx 400 watts to break a 145 with one type R 15... this being in a nissan trunk car with an older TCAB. I'm sure I've yet more effeciant setups (the one with the 154.4 and 2500d @ 1ohm probly could break a 45 at the 200-300 watt point)...but that one comes to mind. |

I saw TCAB being posted here and there on this forum, but I didnt put 2 and 2 together to realize you were the 'Mark' that owned TCAB. (and i just read the 'Introduction' thread) Just wondering man... Did you clamp that amp on the '400w/R15" setup? What amp? What DCR? What kinda box rise did you see? BTW, welcome to the forum. Oh...as far as power goes, I did 148.6 w/ an SX15 on a bp1200.1 @1ohm DCR. Saw ~3.65ohm after rise...~750w. I swapped over to this 20.1, but I am going to have to upgrade my charging to get this lil fella really pumpin @ .35DCR. |

" Howdy That was the clamped power output, from a kenwood mono amp. Something like 350-400 watts, I really dont recall exactly. The loudest single 15 I've had was 154.4 from the single 15 R in my goofy wall design, that was with a clamped 2700 watts. All scores in the kick, btw, although the nissan 15 was setup for the headrest... I think at the time he was doing a 142-143 at the head, and a 146 at the kick. |
