(Got it from TeamSubGoPoof...he had 12 or 14 of them in his comp vehicle and was upgrading to 40.1's) It seems like the going price for 20.1's right now is 450+ship...so $400+ship is a dam good price. I love my 20.1...wish i would have had the $ to buy a pair. BTW...the reason I changed my name on here to Canaan is because that is the name I go by, its what everybody calls me. My full name is Marshall Canaan White. |

My kicker ix402 on my components gets warmer! It has taken burps w/ my voltage dropping to 9.4v and never broke a sweat. Its amazing. I did 149.8dB w/ it on a DD9515d at .35ohm DCR on a stock batt...thats why it saw a voltage drop of 9.4v. If you have the $400 to get that amp, and it has not been smoked. GET IT! |

My box was a lil big when I did that #...I peaked at 47-48hz that day, My truck used to like ~50hz w/ my old SX15 though. (I did 148.6dB w/ the SX15 on a JBL bp1200.1 @ 1ohm DCR w/ the same electrical system) Since then, I have added 3 more runs of 1ga wire (welding cable). I have a new SPL box cut and will be doing some testing this weekend. My boss is supposed to pick up Stinger Batts pretty soon, so I will have at least 1 extra batt very soon (prolly a 2150 next to the amp). |
